Grand Banquet and Live Auction

The Saturday banquet event begins at 5 Pm with dinner served at 6:15. This year’s menu includes  Boston Bibb and Frisee Salad, Grilled Rib-Eye Steak with Dry Herb and Spiced Rub, Fingerling Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables, and New York Style Cheesecake served with Strawberry Sauce.

Games and Raffles–  Don’t miss the chance to play Black Out, Hi/Lo or Score the Sheep. Get in on the Lander Square boards to win a fully wrapped gun safe or super smoker combo.  Weatherby is supporting our Winner Takes All Gun Raffle with some wonderful weapons and we will have several card raffles.

Live Auction–  The 5th and final Wyoming Governor’s Bighorn Sheep license for 2023. A Wyoming Governor’s Bison tag for 2023 and a 2023 Commissioner’s license for Elk, Deer or Antelope courtesy of Commissioner Gay Lynn Byrd.  Other hunts for Sitka Blacktail deer, Dalls Sheep with Raven’s Throat, Desert Sheep at La Guarida in Mexico, along with an area 58 cow elk hunt with Meade Dominick.    A super football weekend with both UW and Broncos tickets and a week long stay at Causarina in the Bahamas hosted by Bob Sundeen and Janice Cronin will also be auctioned.

Friday Night Rendezvous

Relax, talk, reunite with friends, meet new ones Join us at 6 PM on Friday, June 2, 2023. We will be serving Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp or Chicken and Soup or Salad with breadsticks.  Tony Mong, Cody G&F biologist will update us on the 2022 Bighorn Sheep harvest. Play games and raffles and relax with us.

21th Annual Life Member's Breakfast

On Saturday, June 3 at 7:15 AM for Ramshorn Society and Life Members only! This year’s meal will include Fluffy Scrambled Eggs with Peppers and Onions, Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, Biscuits & Country Style Gravy. Executive Director, Katie Cheesbrough will report on our 2022 grant in aid projects.  There will be two Life Members winning $2500 each in banquet credits and a Rams Horn Society member will win a fishing trip for two people to Costa Rica in January 2024.  A fun live and silent auction will be featured along with some games and raffles.

Membership Meeting & Seminars

Join us on Saturday morning, June 4, 2022  at 10AM for our membership meeting. Help decide which grant in aid requests to fund along with other business of interest to the chapter. Following the membership meeting we will have seminars with topics of interest to outdoorsman, hunters and wild sheep enthusiasts from 1-3 PM.

Youth Experience

Meet us from 1-4 Pm on Saturday, June 4 at the Little America Hotel

Youth Activities- The young and old alike will be entertained by our partners, The National Bighorn Sheep Center and Wild Sheep Foundation.  They will expose your children to the wonders of nature and especially wild sheep with their display of natural artifacts, hides and feathers.  Their will be games for playing and prizes awarded.  Later all youth will join us on stage where they will have a chance to win a cow elk hunt with Cole Benton, a youth shotgun, or life memberships to WY-WSF.
